Health Department sends high ranking officers to Larkana to run the HIV awareness campaign

The Health Department has sent nine high ranking officers of the department to Larkana for running the HIV Aids awareness campaign. They will run the campaign and provide their daily report to the Department.

As per a notification issued today, 1st May 2019, by the Director General, Health Services Sindh, nine high ranking officers have been sent to direct the mass awareness campaign regarding prevention from HIV Aids in Larkana.

These are:

• Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Khuhro, Deputy Program Manager, Sindh Lady Health Workers Program for FP & PHC Sindh
• Ms. Asma Jatoi, Health Education Officer, Sindh Lady Health Workers Program for FP & PHC Sindh
• Mr. Mulasim Hussain, Health Education Officer, PHDC, Jamshoro
• Ms. Hira Qazi, Health Education Officer, Larkano
• Ms. Piral Khan Khoso, Health Education Officer,Dadu
• Ms. Fozia Memon, Health Education Officer, Shikarpur
• Dr. Ashok, Field Program Officer, District Shikarpur & Jacobabad
• Dr. Uzair, Field Program Officer, District Dadu
• Dr. Sheeraz, Field Program Officer, District Larkano

These officers would be conducting the following activities on a daily basis and shall be submitting daily reports to the D.G. for onward transmission to higher authorities. Mr. Moosa Qazi, Assistant Director (H.E.) DGHSS shall be coordinating all the activities.

• Distribution of IEC material in community
• Health education session in community and Health facilities
• Car mounted announcement in public places
• Display of IEC material at public places
• Awareness walks at all taluka level
• Distribution of IEC at main roundabouts, public places, railway station, bus stops, etc.
